Enabling Cooperative Law (2001)

In collaboration with Cooperative Development Foundation (CDF), LOK SATTA helped stop the enactment of a restrictive Societies Law and ensured passing of an enabling law benefiting 65,000 organizations across the state.

Right to Information (2001)

Creating awareness on Right to Information resulting in government's commitment to enact a law. Prepared a draft law and widely publicized it across the state to mobilize public opinion and create awareness. In light of the recently passed union law on right to information, LOK SATTA will work with the government of AP to form appropriate rules and procedures for its effective implementation.
